Read the help screen at every new table. The paytable for side bets and the Banker rule on six are the details that move the edge.
Betting systems do not change the edge
Martingale doubles after every loss, Fibonacci climbs a number sequence, and 1-3-2-4 raises stakes after wins. All of them only rearrange when you win and lose. A run of ten losses is rare but certain to come in a long session; starting at K 20, Martingale would then need K 20,480 on the eleventh bet, far beyond most table limits.
Side bets and pattern boards
Player Pair, Banker Pair, Dragon Bonus and similar side bets usually carry edges between 3% and 11%. The road maps on live tables (Big Road, Bead Plate) record past hands; they do not predict the next one, as every hand is dealt from a shoe with no memory of what came before.
Baccarat and bonuses
Baccarat often counts at 10% or less toward wagering, and some casinos exclude it. Betting both Banker and Player to clear a bonus is banned in most terms. Read the game weighting on the bonus page before you play baccarat with bonus money.
Practise first
RNG baccarat usually has a demo mode, and live tables can be watched without betting. Use both until the drawing rules and the payouts feel familiar. Our baccarat page lists new casinos with baccarat tables.
